I photographed this sculpture on the corner of the building because it seemed so dramatic. After I got home I tried to find it on Google. Apparently it depicts the judgment of King Solomon (the two women who both claimed to be the mother of an infant).
An interesting wall of different colors and textures of marble, between the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's.
The winged lion again. It's hard to see, but the figure kneeling in front of the lion is one of the Doges.
